Last year from October 26 to 28, 2021, two of our DBA Candidates enrolled into our DBA program
offered by UCAM Spain were Keynote Speakers at the 4th Asia Pacific Conference on Interdisciplinary Research ACPIR 2021. The theme of the conference was Research Productivity in Challenging Times!
Keynote Speaker 1
Hosam Azat Mohamed Elsaman
Mr. Hosam is a Regional Business Development Manager with proven success in international and applied chemistry. With 18 years of expertise in Oil and Gas in Chemical and Petrochemical
industries both in the MENA region and worldwide. Mr. Hosam has contributed to the corporate strategy planning to the growth of new target regions. He is Doctor of Business Administration candidate at Westford University College (UCAM – Spain) and PhD in Business Administration candidate in France. Moreover, Mr. Hosam is currently a lecturer in Chichester
University UK teaching Strategic Management, Strategic Marketing and Research Methodology. Additionally, he is an Adjunct faculty in MBA Program in aliation with Cornerstone College for International Business and Management courses. He had published papers in international business strategies, entrepreneurship, and markets competitive intelligence strategies
Keynote Speaker 2
Mohamed Ali A.H. Maricar
Mohamed Ali Maricar has over 20 years of experience in managing multiple business. Currently, he is the Chief Operating Ocer for one of the large building materials companies in the UAE.
In addition, he is an award winning writer for his chapter contribution to an academic book published by Emerald for the University of Wollongong in Dubai. He lectures at di erent universities courses such as Strategic Management, International Business, and Marketing Management. He is currently pursuing his DBA Degree with UCAM Spain at Westford University College.
He is Certified Excellence Assessor for the EFQM Excellence Model and at the same time assessing private and private organizations for Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) and Dubai Quality Award. He facilitates small and medium
enterprise (SMEs) in their strategy formulation. He is a Doctoral Candidate, and his research interest includes Strategic Management and Organisational Development.
