The award is a testament to how far the club has come since its inception four years ago. Westford Toastmasters Club has paved a way that promises growth and results by actively
participating in competitions in the district and area, making it one of the most active clubs in district 105. Our Seargent at Arms (SAA), TM Joonie Nasmath shares her thoughts, “I still remember when the Westford Toastmasters Club was just established, and we were trying to get more members! Since it was a public speaking club, it was difficult to get students to join and be a part of it. We were over the moon when our area director told us that we had received 2 awards from Toastmasters International for Club Growth and Retention Brilliance! Currently,
the club has so many members that we had to keep some from joining as we had reached our limit for the year. Moreover, it was a humbling experience when senior members and members
of the District ExCom recognized me as the Humorous Speech Champion of DTAC 2021. The host even remembered a catchy line from my speech! This award belongs to the Westford
management and the Excom team of WTC!”
