On the 7th of September 2024, we celebrated the Westford Leaders Toastmasters Club’s EXCOM Badging ceremony. For me, taking on the role of president this term wasn’t just an opportunity; it was a bucket-list dream come true. This moment symbolized much more than just a title, it was about stepping into a space of growth, leadership, & community-building, something I’ve aspired to be. What made this day even more meaningful was seeing how the collective effort of our alumni, MBA, & DBA students turned a shared vision into a reality. This club wouldn’t be here today without their passion, drive, & unwavering commitment. Watching it all come together made me realize how powerful collaboration can be when people with the same goal unite. I couldn’t be prouder of the individuals who came on board this incredible journey into leadership —Rosalyn Flory, Mona Golshan, Sazina Khan, Muhammed Khubaib, Kavisha Perera, & Sumaita Chowdhary. They’ve all brought their unique skills to this club, & I am grateful for their support, energy, & dedication. To make the event more cherished was the presence of our families. Having them there with us made everything even more special. I felt so proud to share this achievement with the people who’ve been by our sides, their support & encouragement have been the backbone behind everything we do.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without the backing of Mr. Hanil & the entire Westford University College team. Thank you for believing in us, for giving us the platform to create something extraordinary, & for allowing us the freedom to shape the future of this club.
As I look ahead, I am filled with excitement & determination. Our goal for the Westford Leaders Toastmasters Club is bold, but I do not doubt that we can achieve it—we want to be the best Toastmasters club in the world. With this amazing group of people beside me, I know we can do it. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish next. See you all at the next meeting!
