“With my partner Samuel James, I had the pleasure of hosting the WeConnect session; we interviewed Mr. Anis Sajan, Vice Chairman of Danube Group. WeConnect gave us the chance to talk face-to-face with Mr. Sajan and learn about his journey to success. He told his story of how he lived in Kuwait and fled due to war before starting at Eureka Forbes as a door-to-door water purifier salesman. We got to know about his relationship with his older brother, Mr.Rizwan Sajan, CEO of the Danube Group. His brother has been his mentor for a long time and has always been close to him. He told the audience about his love for cricket at a young age. He invested in a UAE based cricket team, the Delhi Bulls, as his business grew. He manages both his professional and cricket passions. Without PASSION, any goal will be challenging to achieve, he explained to the audience. Working hard and being dedicated is important too. Thanks to Mr. Sajan's calm and composed demeanour, the experience was very informative and light-hearted, and I am very grateful to Westford for giving me the opportunity to host the event.”
