On a bright and beautiful morning of 5 February 2023, a group of skilled golfers gathered at the prestigious Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club to take part in the highly anticipated Westford Sharjah Golf Cup 2023. The event was an exciting day-long affair featuring a 2-part standard championship that drew over 25 participants who were eager to showcase their golfing prowess. From jaw-dropping drives to precise putts, the competition was intense and exhilarating from start to finish.
As the sun began to set on the green, we crowned our well-deserved winners. Faye Alblooshi emerged as the ultimate champion, bagging the coveted Trophy and a shiny Titleist Vokey 60 Degree. Paul Nancarrow secured the Runner-Up position and took home a Trophy and FJ Shoes, while Rory Thomson came in third and won a Trophy and a sleek Titleist Backpack. In addition to the top three winners, the Gross Champion, Gross Runner Up, Round 2 Winner, Round 2 Runner Up, and Round 2 Best Gross also walked away with impressive prizes such as golfing sticks, golfing balls, shoes, duffle bags, and more!
