During this momentous event, all awardees received their “Tes- tamur,” with special mention and applause given to the “Dis- tinction Holders.” Over the course of two events held on the same day, 180+ graduates from MBA, Executive MBA, MPhil, and DBA programs attended the event and celebrated their success.
Furthermore, awards were presented to exceptional students in recognition of their outstanding work, including Verna Ndonge- ni, who received the “Best Dissertation- Master of Business Administration” award, and Tracey Rodrigues, who received the “Best Performer Postgraduate Extended Diploma in Business – CIQ” award. The most distinguished honor, the “Valedictorian” award for the Master of Business Administration, was bestowed upon Ms. Tess Pereira, Ahmad Ibraheem Ahmad Shraway Al-Ghamdi received the “Valedictorian” award for MPhil, and Fazela Sahib-Smith was honored with the “Valedictorian” award for DBA.

My relationship with Westford began in 2017 when I enrolled in the MBA - Healthcare Management program. Even though it was my first online course, I remember being astounded by how “doable“ the program was. I was greatly motivated by the positive attitude of the Westford team and faculty members. After the successful completion of my MBA, I felt as if I have reached my highest point. However, the DBA caught my attention and eventually I decided to ‘jump
into the deep end without hesitation’ and it has certainly paid off. With continuous guidance and support from Westford Faculty and Team, this intense experience became the greatest feat of my academic journey.
I am grateful to the Almighty for not only granting me this title of Doctorate in Business Administra- tion but also for being the first recipient of the Valedictorian Award from this partnership. Being a woman, a mother, a wife, and a working professional, among other roles, I have proven that it can be done. My association with Westford University began in 2019 when I enrolled in my fourth master’s degree program. Since then, my experience with Westford has been exemplary. Today, after obtaining my M.Phil., a step away from my doctorate, I am convinced that my decision to associate with Westford was one of the best decisions of my academic life. The faculty’s unwavering support, guidance, and passion is what makes this institution special. Even during the most dificult phase of my personal life due to the death of my father, my role model and my hero, Westford was there to support me with genuine empathy to deal with the loss.
