The Toastmasters ExCom badging ceremony at our university was a memorable event celebrating the spirit of leadership and community within our club. With speeches from each ExCom member and the presence of our CEO, Mr. Hanil, as well as Dr. Soofi and Dr. Arpita, the ceremony was filled with inspiration and good vibes. Dr. Soofi’s speech was particularly influential, emphasizing the importance of leadership and how it helps us grow not only as individuals, but as a team in the university. His words reminded us of all the great things we can achieve by stepping out of our comfort zone. Each member of the ExCom team shared their own personal experience in their speeches, demonstrating how the journey was different for each of us. Moreover, our President Ayaat spoke about her vision for the club, as well as inspired her team with motivating words to uphold the spirits of the club. The unity and passion that we share as a team were clear throughout the ceremony.
Later, I had the honor of being badged as the Vice President of Education. I’ve been fortunate to improve my own public speaking skills with exceptional guidance from the previous ExCom, and being recognized in such a special event only strengthened my commitment. I look forward to providing the same support and encouragement to our members. This ceremony wasn’t just about receiving titles—it was a celebration of our commitment to each other and to the mission of our Toastmasters club. I’m grateful to be part of such an amazing community, and I’m excited to work alongside all of my fellow ExCom members as we continue to grow and succeed together.
