Joining Westford for the DBA program was one of my milestones as I knew that it would support my development. The reason is that we are combining academics with work experience and practice. As a working professional, that in itself is a really good value. Having a DBA is much more than having a title, it’s the value that comes along with it. No matter what role you’re in, you will have so much to gain from this!

Mona Golshan Sorour

Key Account Manager - Al Ittihad Drug store At first, I was not sure whether I would be able to do the DBA program, especially because managing work, family, and studies at the same time seemed daunting. But the facility provided by the university with classes on the weekend made it possible for students like me. The faculty are available even after work hours to support you and I appreciate that!

As an HR professional with 35+ experience, I finally decided to dwell on academics to end my professional journey and contribute back to society. Age doesn’t set the bar but the inclination to go ahead and follow your desire is what is truly important. Today's Bootcamp was a great experience, where like-minded Doctorate students came together, discussed, and shared new ideas! A great learning experience that provided students with a new perspective on things!

Fahima AlHamaty

Business Development Manager - Taiba Hospital
The pandemic affected the healthcare sector a lot and I needed something to upskill myself, enrolling in the DBA program was the perfect way to do it. The Bootcamp provided a fun and engaging learning experience for all the students. Being a full-time working mother, I want to let other women know that it isn’t impossible, we are the leaders of today, and doing the Doctorate program is the perfect way to become one!

After a lunch break, further presentations were delivered by DBA students. The second day concluded with the organizers announcing Ms. Lina Al-Hamaty as the winner of the DBA presentation competition. Overall, the Research and Leadership Bootcamp was a major success with attendees and speakers from all over the world. This initial DBA programme linked event has set high standards for future Westford University College events of a similar nature.
