Our reputed guest Dr. Ismet Esenyel, the Vice Rector and Director of Global Strategy and Partnerships at the GAU, addressed the gathering with his wise words and congratu- lated the students for achieving this mile- stone. The graduates were then presented with the testamurs followed by the felicita- tion of the guests with mementoes by the Westford leadership team. The MBA valedic- torian speech by Taurayi Gwande was the tipping point of this grand ceremony as the academic excellence and valedictorian awards were presented to honour the exem- plary achievements of the students. With loads of memories to carry to the new phase of life, the ceremony culminated with group photos, lunch and networking.
Attending and addressing the graduation ceremony of Westford University College on behalf of Girne American University was a great privilege. I would like to thank Westford for making me a crucial part of this amazing experience. My gratitude goes to all the lecturers for their commitment and sacrifice to sustain the integrity of the institute and assist students to achieve great things and grow both educationally and spiritually. As a public health professional with over 15 years of experience in development aid projects, I required further qualifi- cations to understand the transforma- tion in leadership, management, and innovation in the 21st century. Pursuing
the MBA program with specialization in Public Health Manage- ment offered by Westford University College in partnership with Girne American University was one of the best decisions of my professional journey. It was the answer to my concerns about managing a busy professional schedule while studying for my course. The program was well structured, delivered online over weekends, very affordable, interactive and was taught by experienced and professional faculty members. The coursework, assignments and case studies were relevant and challenging, but with the complete support of the faculty and non-academic staff, these were seamless.
