On March 19, 2023, the Westford Awards took place at the magnificent Mina Al Salam – Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, marking the first-ever awards ceremony in the UAE hosted by a business school to honour business excellence and individuals beyond. This prestigious event gathered over 50 business leaders to celebrate their remarkable achievements and success. The Westford Awards encompassed various categories to honour exemplary endeavours and impact.
The Business Excellence category recognized businesses from diverse industries in the UAE that demonstrated notable contributions to innovation and growth. The Business Impact category celebrated organizations and individuals who have gone the extra mile to create engaging experiences for their stakeholders. It also acknowledged initiatives that deliver substantial impacts on their respective industries and society at large.
Another significant category, the Social Impact award, honoured organizations for their meaningful effect on people and communities through their actions, activities, and initiatives. This category applauded the positive changes brought about by these entities in society.
The Service Excellence category recognized individuals who are shaping the future of the UAE and inspiring generations to come. These exceptional individuals are paving the way for progress and embodying the values of leadership, dedication, and innovation.

We are thankful to Westford University College for presenting Dubai Cares with the ‘Social Impact’ award in recognition of the organizations effort towards empowering children and youth with access to quality education.
