Being part of the Westford Dance Club has been an incredible journey, but one experience truly stands out: meeting Hardy Singh, the Bhangra powerhouse and founder of Pure Bhangra, a UAE-based Bhangra crew.
It all began with our triumph at the MAHE Carnival Dubai. We showcased our Bhangra skills to the most viral Punjabi hits, electrifying the crowd and securing first place in the Eastern Category. Little did we know, this victory would lead to a truly inspiring encounter.
Hardy Singh, a proud graduate of MAHE Dubai, paid our club a personal visit! He was curious about what ignited our passion for Bhangra. Meeting him was surreal. He wasn’t just a Bhangra influencer, he was an inspiration. He openly shared his Bhangra journey, his infectious energy fueling our own commitment to this vibrant dance form. He even offered valuable pointers, pinpointing areas where we could further refine our moves.
But the experience didn’t end there. We collaborated with Hardy Singh on a high-production reel, a testament to the skills we honed. The overwhelming response on social media – over 50,000 views! – proved to be another highlight.
I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Westford. They've been our unwavering pillar for the Dance Club, pushing us towards excellence and celebrating our victories all along the way. This experience of meeting Hardy Singh, the inspiration, the collaboration – it's all thanks to their constant support. It was a truly phenomenal experience, one the club and I would cherish forever!
