Jashn’22 is an annual cultural festival organized by the BITS, Dubai. The Westfordians didn’t leave any stone unturned in making a mark at the various events they took part in. Be it the battle of the bands, duet & solo singing, duet & group dance, stage & street play, quiz, and the fashion show. The audience was left in awe of the various performances, gaining a loud cheer from them. WUC was declared runner’s up in both the Fashion Show and Street Play categories, with honorable mentions in dance and the quiz competition.
WUC gained experience, which they will keep in their memory files forever. The exposure thanks to the organizers was wonderful. Cultural festivals give opportunities to students to showcase their hidden talents. For the stage play, our students enacted the last part of the famous Julius Caesar Play; for street play, our students highlighted the various forms of harassments towards women, with the women standing up for themselves, giving out the message that they are strong and can fight for their rights! All in all, learnings that the students will take with them for a long time.
